About us
At Maison de Coeur - Centre pour Seniors our support elderly people living in Paris by providing daily care, companionship, and a safe, respectful environment. Many of the seniors we care for experience isolation, reduced mobility, or cognitive decline. With the help of volunteers, we aim to improve their quality of life through human connection, attentive presence, and meaningful daily activities.
About you
We are looking for volunteers who are patient, calm, and compassionate. A respectful attitude and the ability to listen are essential. Volunteers should feel comfortable spending time with elderly people, including those with limited mobility or mild cognitive impairment. No medical experience is required. Reliability and discretion are very important.

About the mission
On the day of the mission, volunteers will help create a warm and engaging atmosphere for our residents. Tasks may include spending time in conversation, reading aloud, playing simple games, accompanying residents during walks inside or around the center, or assisting staff during group activities such as arts, music, or light exercises. Volunteers will not be asked to provide medical or personal care. All activities are supervised by our professional staff.
The mission is coordinated by Marie Lefèvre, activities and volunteer coordinator at Maison du Cœur. Marie has worked in elderly care for over eight years and will welcome volunteers on arrival, explain the schedule and activities, and remain available throughout the day to support both volunteers and residents.
